Team Overview

Teachers at three-quarters of all the public schools in the U.S. have created classroom project requests on The Advocacy and Public Partnerships Team works to establish deep and mutually beneficial relationships with school districts across the country, ensuring district administrators have the information they need to help teachers in their district secure classroom resources through

Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

Support external relationships with school districts

  • Field inquiries from school district officials our team has relationships with
  • Lead district trainings for teachers and principals on using

Lead district marketing and promotions

  • Create district-facing materials, e.g. case studies on how  districts have successfully partnered with and one-pagers for each district position we interact with
  • Create and help execute email strategy for regular, relevant, and personalized communications with school district contacts

Onboard districts new to working with

  • Pull data reports for school districts regularly and upon request, using our data analytics tool, Looker, and adding to the menu of data reports as needed
  • Over time, work with our team to develop self-serve reporting for school districts
  • Manage and design improvements for our internal database of school district contacts through Salesforce

Be the representative of our school district stakeholders for other departments at

  • Work with Customer Service to strategize around how best to field inquiries they get from school districts, to get districts the information they need at the time they need it
  • Work with Project Fulfillment to share and act on feedback from school districts on our vendor offerings
  • Support our Trust & Safety team on their work that impacts districts, like our privacy policy and user agreement
  • Collaborate with our Partnerships teams to gather and share relevant (usually joyous!) funding opportunities with district contacts


This position might be for you if:

  • You are detail-oriented. Nothing escapes your watchful eye, and you love to put together perfect materials - but you also don’t spend too long on any one thing and know when to call what’s done, done.
  • You’re a great writer and communicator, because even the simplest email tells a story.
  • You’re interested in or have some experience with using data to inform decision-making. Basic stats background or Excel experience is a bonus.
  • You’re always looking to learn and are super receptive to feedback.
  • You’ve got a great track record at managing projects from start to finish.
  • You work quickly and efficiently.
  • You like building relationships, and while you maybe haven’t yet had a professional role focused on relationship building, you would be excited to try out networking professionally
  • You have at least 3 years of work experience.

Compensation and Benefits offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes 100% employer paid health, dental, and vision coverage; a matching 401k plan (up to 5% of base salary); and annual professional development stipend, and 5 weeks paid vacation plus national holidays.
